19th Century Spanish Renaissance Style Walnut Writing Table with Iron Stretcher
About the Item
This small scale late nineteenth century Spanish Renaissance style table features a 29-inch wide oak top joined to its elegantly curved legs by means of two splines that run the entire width of the table. Hand forged iron supports connecting the legs to the top provide additional stability. A handsome piece with a warm, naturally aged patina, this piece would be ideal as a writing table. circa 1850.
