About the Item

A fine quality late 19th century French Kingwood Bonheur Du Jour, having a wonderful faded patina, white marble to the top, with three quarter brass gallery. Sèvres style porcelain plaques with floral hand painted decoration mounted to the drawer fronts, the frieze drawer opening to reveal a Moroccan leather writing slide with gilt tooling, raised on elegant cabriole legs with fine quality gilded ormolu foliate mounts.
