Neoclassical Desk, Louis XVI Period 1780

About the Item

This original Louis XVI Desk stands out for its beautiful walnut veneer which is additionally embellished with intarsia. The desk stands on four tapering square legs. It has three drawers. The top has a gorgeous walnut root veneer. The back side of the desk is also decorated with a walnut veneer. The desk has been professionally refinished and has a shellac polish. It ships from Germany and includes shipping costs and duty to Boston.
