Early 18th Century English Walnut Oval Dropleaf / Gateleg Table

About the Item

Elegant, delicate and versatile English Queen Anne Dropleaf / Gateleg Table of slightly oval form. Suited for various functions, it can be used as small wall-console, narrow end table or, with both leaves open, as end or center table. The top, above a long narrow drawer, is supported by delicately turned legs joined by box-stretchers, Two conforming turned gatelegs swing out to support the dropleaves. Beautiful, well preserved condition and patina. Dimensions: Closed: 28" wide, 9,5" deep, 24" high Open: 28" wide, 30" deep, 24" high.
