18th Century English Georgian Mahogany Dropleaf Table

About the Item

A chic and modern-in-spirit 18th century English Georgian mahogany drop-leaf gate-leg breakfast table with a top made from three solid planks of mahogany and tapered square legs ending with brass-mounted iron casters. This table is very versatile and can be used as a console table behind a sofa, configured with one leaf extended for use as a demilune table, or both leaves extended for use as a small dining or games table.

    Wear consistent with age and use. A few burn marks on the table, but they're to be expected of a piece of this age. Candles were the main source of light in the 18th century and candlesticks would heat up and leave burn marks on furniture.
