Large Centennial Queen Anne-Style Drop-Leaf Dining Table Philadelphia circa 1880

A beautiful and well-crafted American-Centennial dining table in mahogany in the Queen Anne style with drop-leaves, carved gadrooning along the edges of top, with cabriole legs on ball-and-claw feet. Table seats 8 when leaves are up and table is fully extended, Philadelphia, circa 1880. A lovely and compact dining table that can double as a sofa table. Perfect for a small cottage or apartment!   • Condition:
    Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Table has original varnish finish that has been restored with by gently amalgamating the surface , adding a bit of French polish (shellac) and then finishing with a hard carnauba wax. Great natural protective finish.
