Big Round Work & Presentation Table

About the Item

Round work table made from a Cambo photo studio tripod (Dutch brand in professional camera and studio accessories). This type of column tripod was the first product of this company to be presented in the 1950s. Workplace for one, two or even three people. Worktop adjustable to all normal desired heights. Standing or sitting (desk) work is therefore possible, but quickly switching between these positions is not possible! Various monitors or all-in computers can be mounted freely on this table. Two or two copies near each other (maximum 27 inch). When using a single screen, up to 50 inches can be used (presentation table). Four vesa standard monitor arms are included (two arm and two versions sliding flat on the standing column). This striking table can of course also be used for other purposes, such as "coffee corner" in a company or department. But it is also a very nice place in, for example, a family setting where everyone checks their mail and where social media is shared together. The round glass worktop (6mm thick) is illuminated all around (inside and outside) by dimmable LED light in all desirable colors and warm white. On the worktop a plug block (Europe) for 4 earth plugs and two USB charging current contacts. Main switch under worktop with red neon control light. Lighting at the top of the column, optionally an adapted Louis Kalff (Philips brand designer) saucer lamp. With dimmable LED (strip) lighting or three-way fixture including three dimmable warm white Philips LED lamps of 11w. (800 lumens / 220V.) per bulb (choose your favorite to come with this table). In the column a working counterweight which relieves the adjustment of the worktop via a pulley. By screwing in the three buttons in the tripod foot, the entire unit can be moved easily on wheels. Color scheme, blue-grey (original tripod cast iron parts, with damage's) and hammered silver/grey (new and adjustment parts). Glassplate carrier is made of several layers of plywood Glassplate has several scratches. I'mac(s) and/or coffee machine are not included.

  • Philips "First Product" Power Supply Table Lamp
    Located in VUGHT, NL
Philips table lamp Lamp made from the first adapter ever. Philips manufactured the first (home) radio for private individuals in 1925. This (type 2501) radio worked on batteries, but because the Netherlands was busy connecting the homes to the electricity grid at that time, the question arose whether the radio could also be connected to the socket. That is why, especially from 1927, these transformer/rectifiers were supplied as an option. After this radio combination, Philips quickly switched to manufacturing (home) radios with built-in power supply. A short and special period, so that there are few of these more than 90 years old adapters left. Because the built-in electricity can no longer mean a sensible and safe function in the current time, it has been completely removed. Placed back are a powerful (800 lumen Philips) LED lamp in “Edison” shape glass bulb. The left rotary knob switches between off, two neon mood lights on and (third position) the LED lamp on (neons off). Right rotary knob, very nicely regulates the light intensity of the LED lamp. In certain low dimmed positions, the lamp can sometimes flicker, this is not a problem and perhaps extra atmospheric? A total of five copies were made (one sold), four with a glued fixed (Philips) LED lamp and one with built-up E27 fitting (this has interchangeable (incandescent) lamp options). Bakelite top plate. Steel plate housing with beautiful patina or newly sprayed black hammer blow (because of the condition some copies were in). One version has a France guideline printed on the housing, the other one's: Dutch. New cotton wrapped and earthed connection cable (300 cm.) with old bakelite...

  • Early 20th Century Iron Base Work Table
    Located in Round Top, TX
The appeal of this old work table comes from the aged wood itself, worn and distressed through years of use adding to the character imbedded in the table. Notice the expected age-related separation of the planks of wood that comprise the top, in addition to cracks, stains and heavy gouges. The industrial iron base is solid, allowing this to function as a desk, console, work or craft table. This rustic work table has been restored so is strong, stable and ready for use. ** In light of current affairs and fluctuating fuel prices shipping quotes and timelines are estimates only.
