19th Century Late Victorian Red Tiled Bamboo Side Table

A stunning example of period late Victorian art furniture. Born in England / United Kingdom during the late 19th century, featuring a scorched bamboo frame with gently curved legs joined by medial cross-stretcher open shelf, supporting a rectangular cranberry red glazed ceramic tiled top. circa 1880s Retaining the desirable characteristics found in decorative arts only at the end of the Victorian era (1837-1901), this remarkable two-tiered table is light, airy, and portable, showcasing Far Eastern - Chinoiserie - Oriental influence, and artistic aesthetic movement styling, it's sure to add a splash of bold color, distinctive texture and sculptural form to any space, while simultaneously bringing a thoughtful touch of sophisticated antique character, elegant warmth and rustic simplicity to your room! Dimensions: (approx) 28.5" High, 31.75" Wide, 19.75" Deep As warm and attractive as it is useful, having the ideal size and proportions for a variety of different uses, including as a highly decorative accent table, dining room dessert server, cocktail drinks dry bar cart, hall console, parlor lamp stand, oversized bedside nightstand, end table, and more!
