Mid-19th Century French Louis Philippe Leather Top Carved Cherry Side Table

About the Item

This versatile, antique fruitwood end table could easily be mixed into any room in your home. The simple, traditional Louis Philippe style side table was carved in the Poitou region of France, circa 1860. The small writing table stands on tapered legs over a straight apron dressed with a center drawer embellished with a bronze pull. The surface features a green leather top embellished with gilt embossed tooling around the perimeter; it is further decorated with an embossed diamond motif in the center. This Louis Philippe side table is in excellent condition and adorns a rich walnut patina; it could be used as a small desk, a side table or a large nightstand next to a bed. Measures: 39.25" W x 25.25" D x 27.75" H.
