Los Angeles–based artist Christopher Norman's work explores the traits of molded forms executed in exceptional woods. In any setting, they call out to be used and enjoyed. Each item is one solid piece of wood; because of the nature of nonindustrial lumber and the fact that they are handmade, each piece will have a unique and exceptional character.
This piece is created from a veneer grade, Mexican-era, 200+ year-old walnut tree from Northern California.
