Antique Dressing Table/ Chest of Drawers with Gustavian Grey Paint & Oval Mirror

About the Item

A late 19th century pine chest of drawers or dressing table with newly-painted Gustavian grey/white or driftwood color paint. Offers an oval dressing mirror that pivots and rests over a table surface that is flanked on each side by a pedestal housing a drawer for toiletries, below which are two long storage drawers. Chest rests on square bracket feet and has turned wooden knobs. Glass is new and beveled. Scandinavia, circa 1890. Measurements: 45" wide x 19" deep x 70 1/2" high.   • Condition:
    Replacements made: Wooden knobs were replaced at some point. Oval mirror was replaced with a beveled mirror. Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Newly painted in our workshop using a Gustavian grey/white paint similar to driftwood in color.
