"Arcadia, " Rare Enamel Panel with Pan and Nymph

About the Item

Featuring rich, saturated colors and mythological figures surrounded by a group of horses, this unique panel is a classic, superb example of 1950s enamel work. The Pan figure, with his pipes, and the nymph, with a dress featuring a Greek key motif, are set against a glowing background of tangerine and olive green. The panel maintains its original frame.
