Circa 1910-30 oil on canvas of a harbor scene by Frederick Judd Waugh, American, 1861-1940. Signed lower right. Strong, bold impressionistic brush strokes - the hallmark of Waugh's style. Studied Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and Academie Julian in Paris. His marinescapes won the Popular Prize at the Carnegie International Exhibition five years running. Strong sales record. Canvas/stretcher by AncoBilt, Glendale, NY: 20 1/4" x 24 1/4". Well framed.
