About the Item
Joy Broe, b 1948 has explored abstract expressionism thought her career. This very large pair works in acrylic on canvas utilize a style facilitated by innovation in acrylic mediums: hypertexture. Each work featured a series of varying and deeply textured sections in color block style. The works are titled by the artist (seen on the bottom edge): Mockingbird I and Mockingbird II. Both works are in excellent condition.
