About the Item

An absolutely stunning chromogenic print by esteemed American Fine Art photographer Mitch Epstein. One of his most well-known images which can be found in his book "In Pursuit of India." Signed, titled and dated by artist on the verso of print. Print comes matted and framed. Framed dimensions: 19" high, 25" wide by 1' deep. Epstein's work has been exhibited and published extensively in the United States and Europe, and collected by numerous major museums, including New York's Museum of Modern Art and Whitney Museum of American Art, The J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Tate Modern in London. He is the author of many photographic books including American Power, for which he won the Prix Pictet (2011) and Family Business, for which he won a Guggenheim Fellowship and the Kraszna-Krausz Photography Book Award (2004). Framed dimensions: 19" high, 25" wide, 1" deep.
