Original vintage railway poster for Tay Bridge See Scotland by Train featuring a stunning painting by the notable British artist Terence Tenison Cuneo (1907-1996) depicting a train approaching the viewer on the Tay Bridge over the Firth of Tay passing another train below the steel girders at the top of the bridge, seagulls flying overhead and the city buildings and hills visible in the distance with smoke rising from the factory chimneys into the sunset sky creating a dramatic glow on the waves and on the metal beams in the foreground. The double track Tay railway bridge links Dundee with Fife on the east coast of Scotland, running over the mouth of Scotland's longest river, the River Tay. Published by British Railways Scottish Region. Printed in Great Britain by Waterlow and Sons Limited. Large size. Horizontal. Good condition, restored folds, restored tears, backed on linen.
