19th Century Spanish Scoop or Plow of Wood and Iron with Rustic Farm Look
About the Item
A 19th century Spanish scoop or plow of wood and iron. This antique farming tool from Spain features a wonderfully weathered wood scoop jointed with rusty hand-forged iron hardware and blade. A pair of hooked iron latches flank the sides, while an o-ring hangs from it's rear; presumably to attach this scoop as if it was a plow or some other agricultural mechanism. This good-sized scoop would work well as a centrepiece, with fruit or other items inside, or perhaps mounted or leaning against a wall as a decorative object. As for the exact original use, of this 19th century Spanish tool, we aren't 100% sure, but we sure do think it's great!
