Faience wall relief by Swedish artist Ivar Johnsson (1885-1970) made at the S:t Erik factory, Upsala Ekeby, 1919-1920s. Octagonal shape depicting Venus on a shell. Signed and marked S: Erik Upsala, also signed 'Ivar J.' in the cast. Composed for KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm 1919. Literature: Pictured on page 507 in the "Swedish Grace" book written by Gunilla Ivanov and edited by Christian Björk and Eric Ericson, 2017. Measures: Height: 48 Width: 42 Depth: 5 cm.
