About the Item
Important mask with beautiful a patina over paint and sculpting note, heads on both sides. Acquired from an old private collection. An almost identical mask was exhibited in "African Art from New Jersey Collections" Montclair Art Museum 1983 and is illustrated as figure 31 from the collection of Leonard and Judith Kahan.
