About the Item

This is such a terrific unisex handmade bracelet: weighty, substantial, and very well-made in China in the 1960s. Crafted entirely in sterling silver, the bracelet is composed of 5 silver panels, each created in a bamboo motif. The central panel features a curved and rectangular-shaped cabochon of certified natural and untreated Burmese jadeite jade. The stone measures 50mm x 20mm and is securely bezel-set. The jade is a mottled medium green, almost a sage green. It's a beautiful stone that displays the beautiful natural grain of the stone. To open, simply press the tiny tab on the back and slide the clasp out. This leaves you with an 8" bracelet that can fit many different wrists, both men and women alike. Each panel is hinged so the bracelet remains somewhat flexible. It's also in remarkably fine condition for its age, with no dents or damage. The jade stone is, of course, in perfect condition. Opaque and mottled, the Jade has a sophisticated muted tone, making it ideal as a daily driver. This is an unusual and exceedingly cool bracelet. I love the bamboo motif and the combination of the cool sage green with the bright white of the silver. It's a nice, larger-sized cuff bracelet. The bracelet ships with a certificate from Stone Group Labs stating that the jade is untreated jadeite from Burma (Myanmar).
