Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver & Enamel Sash Buckle Brooch

About the Item

A fine antique sash buckle brooch. With green and white bands of enamel on a sterling silver frame. These buckles were de rigueur accessories in the Edwardian period. Now converted with a hinged pin and catch to allow it to be worn as a brooch or scarf pin. Simply a wonderful brooch! Date: Late 19th or Early 20th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with some very fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Condition Details: There a few tiny spots of loss to the enamel here & there, some light edge wear, some very fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
