About the Item
A stunning Brooch in the form of a Maiden Woman with Flowers in her hair and set with Pearls in a crescent moon motif. The Woman Brooch dates to the Belle Epoque - Art Nouveau period, circa 1880 - 1915. The brooch is 14 Karat Gold. The wonderful maiden is beautifully rendered with a stunning face and absolutely beautiful flowing hair. The maiden is set with daisy flowers in her hair that are exquisite. The gold is a gorgeous warm yellow color. The crescent moon portion is set with graduated silvery white pearls. The woman's face is just stunning. If desired the brooch can be easily converted to a pendant necklace.
The brooch is 1 3/8 inches (36mm) wide. It is 5/8 inch (20mm) tall.
The brooch is hallmarked 14k with a fish motif maker's mark.
