Carved Rock Crystal Diamond Pearl White Gold Brooch
About the Item
Made in Vienna, Austria in the 1940s -1950s
This large vintage brooch is designed as a delicately hand carved frosted rock crystal flowerhead embellished with a pearl and two bezel-set old European cut diamonds (approximately 0.32 ct and 0.45 ct, G-H color, VS1-VS2 clarity). The flowerhead is mounted on a 14K white gold stem with polished and diamond encrusted leaves (antique rose cut diamonds).
Estimated total diamond weight 1.30 ct.
Marked with maker’s initials, 585 gold standard (14K), Austrian horse head assay marks for Vienna.
