Gold plated cut metal flower brooch pin. Large emerald paste glass rhinestone petals with rounded facets at each end of petals; single clear rhinestone center of flower. Gold-toned metal facets at each end of flower petals. Detailed cut stem and leaves below flower head; two-toned green enamel painted leaves with brown enamel painted stem. Gold-plated backside; long stick pin “C” clasp fastener. Marked “Chanel” at center back of flower stem. Rare brooch created by Reinad Novelty Company from their spring 1941 collection while under the name “Chanel Novelty Company.” Marked with “Chanel” script signature, spring 1941 was the only season in which Reinad went by “Chanel Novelty Company.” Made In: USA Additional Packaging: No MEASUREMENTS & SIZING: Length: 3” (Measured from top of flower to bottom of stem) Width: 1.5” (Widest point) CONDITION: BC (see guide). Some very minor wear to rhinestone petals and center consistent with age/storage; some very minor enamel paint loss around edges of leaves and stem (not noticeable except upon very close inspection). Some very minor loss of gold plating at back of brooch; some minor wear/bending to bottom of pin (not visible when worn, not noticeable except upon close inspection). Please refer to photos provided.
