Impressive Victorian Gold Cross Pendant/Brooch
About the Item
This impressive antique Victorian gold cross complete with an elaborate raised floral, leaf and ivy design exquisitely sculpted from yellow, green and rose gold retains a lovely patina naturally achieved over time since it was created. The cross measures approximately 2.69" (68.32 mm), including the bail, by 1.50" (38.10 mm) across. The cross weighs approximately 16.85 grams (10.84 dwt) (bail included). The handsome bail is engraved with a simple line design and can easily be removed, and the ring folds down becoming hidden so the pendant can be worn as a brooch as well. Excellent condition for a Victorian piece - Circa 1875.
