About the Item
Unusual Victorian Amythest and Enamel Stickpin from the 19th Century of fine French manufacture. Originally born as a hat pin, it has been cut down for wear on a lapel in the period and includes a period safety holder to hold in place.
.75" amythest bead set with 6 enamel and 18k gold plaques. White enamel with finely etched gold beetles signifying good luck. Bead .75" head, 1.5" length. Work from a fine period jeweler.
