Double-Sided Cufflinks with Citrines Set in 14 Karat Yellow Gold by Riker Bros.

About the Item

Like the stock market and hemlines, cufflink designs have trended larger and smaller at different points in modern history. These beautiful cufflinks are from one of the latter periods. Made by Riker Bros. of New York, they feature four expertly cut, richly colored citrine cabochons set in 14K yellow gold. These cufflinks create a visual pop on the cuff despite their diminutive size. They would be ideal for someone wishing to make a subtle gesture, or someone with a smaller frame (including a child). The cufflinks are marked 14K indicating the gold content, along with the maker's mark for Riker Bros., which made gold cufflinks for Tiffany and other famous retailers from the 1870s until the 1940s. Each of the four oval faces measures 10.1 by 7.4 mm. Together, the cufflinks weigh 3.31 grams.
