Antique 14K Gold Cube Watch Fob with Watch Chain & Dog Clasp
About the Item
Offered is a lovely late Victorian 14K gold pocket watch fob, with its original short watch chain and dog clip. It would be beautiful added to a period pocket watch but will also make a great necklace extender with pendant...particularly paired with another antique watch chain.
Tested throughout and with a small partial mark inside the dog clip, the gold has a lovely rosy color. (not super, super pink, but definitely rosier or rosy yellow. I've done my best to capture the color, but it may display differently on your screen) On my scale, the fob and chain have a nice weight of 7.91 grams.
The cube fob measures approximately 1/2 an inch x 1/2 an inch (12 x 12 mm), while the cable style chain (including the non-swivel dog clasp) measures approximately 4 inches long.
The only condition issue to note is that there are two small "dings' near one corner of the fob. They don't stand out at all but are mentioned for accuracy and shown in the 9th macro photo. This charming piece is ready to enjoy.
