Geometric spirals rings designed by Jean Dinh Van.
Stunning geometric modernist piece, created in Paris, France at the jewelry atelier of the iconic designer Jean Dinh Van, back in the 1980's, This lovely duo spirals rings has been crafted in solid yellow of 18 karats and sterling silver, with very high polished finish. These sophisticated design synthesizes the architectural geometric style that characterizes Dinh Van. The daring piece incorporates the composition of two geometric circular elements.
Weight: 13.2 grams (8.46 Dwt.).
Size: 8.5, sizeable.
Measurements: The width is 9 mm.
Hallmarks: They are both stamped with French hallmarks, the maker's cartouche mark Ste DVD (Societe Dinh Van), the sizing number, the gold assay marks and signed, "DINH VAN .750 .925 58".
Jean Dinh Van is a French designer, that was born in 1927 from a French-Vietnamese family. His successful career started behind the workbench at the French jewelry house of Cartier in 1946 and then work for Pierre Cardin. In 1972 he started his own company and the followed years his revolutionary designs and style caught on quickly and launched him to the forefront of the jewelry and fashion world. All his designs are very geometric and modern, both, his original vintage pieces created for Cartier and the contemporary creations are highly collectible. Dinh Van pieces are very fashionable, sophisticate and easy to wear, also can be displayed as a small toys, sculptures and "Objets de Vertu".
