Vintage Gold and Sapphire Band Ring
About the Item
The heavens touch this 18 Kt gold band by setting twinkling blue Ceylon color sapphires around the lacelike face. The sapphires are small stones with few facets, no more than 3.5 points total weight yet their presence is just right for the space they occupy. That space is open, frilly gold, neither flower or garland, yet suggest a garden or wreath. The back of the band is open frilly ovals as well. This is a light weight comfortable band that serves as a pretty ring or wedding band. Size 6 1/4 to 6 1/2. Can be made smaller. Ring sizable by your experienced jeweler. Glorious will size if wished charging you only the jeweler’s cost. Weight 4,2 grams. c. 1970
