About the Item
An antique diamond, rose gold, and platinum ring, comprising one large old European cut diamond, nine smaller old European cut diamonds, and four old European cut accent diamonds, set in platinum, to a band of 18 karat rose gold.
This ring is set to the centre with a large old European cut diamond. The diamond is supremely sparkly and is bright and white, sparkling in a way that only old cut diamonds can, with their chunky, hand-cut facets. The diamond is elegantly held with platinum claws and surrounded by 9 smaller old European cut diamonds. The halo of diamonds make up the petals of the daisy, and they are held aloft with part bezel setting, part claw setting. The diamonds are bright, white, sparkly, and well-matched with one another, and the principal diamond. The shoulders of the ring are each accented with a pair of old cut diamonds, completing this beautiful ring with a splash of extra glamour. The deep shoulders of the ring taper to a band of plain, polished rose gold, which is soft in colour, and unlike the harsh pink of modern rose gold. The ring is in great condition and is of very high quality craftsmanship. Wear and tear acquiescent with age.
The head of the ring measures 12.5mm high, and 12.5mm wide. The band measures just over 1.5mm wide at the back.
