Antique Victorian Elkington & Co. Silver Plate Decanter Stand
About the Item
Rare Elkington Victorian Silver Plate Three Bottle Decanter Stand Tantalus, circa 1869. This beautiful and classic silver plated decanter holder has a central stem with a loop handle and the three decanters sit in circular wells each supported with magnificent Victorian exquisite decorated elements. The piece is raised on three pierced scrolled supports.
This superb Victorian stand would look beautiful on the sideboard or on the dining table.
The underside has a full mark for English silversmith, Elkington, and Co. with a date letter for the year 1869.
The dish measures approx. 27cm x 24 cm and stands 32 cm tall.
