Inscribed with a Dedication: "Presented to The Revd. TA Parkin, by the inhabitants of West Hatch, and other friends, as a token of their high esteem & regard for him; his urbanity of manner & humility of disposition having endeared him to his Parishioners, & to all classes who knew him," March 1867
