With incised & carved decoration throughout including cartouches depicting poets or scholars reading and a festive scene with maidens dancing.
The central cartouche is encircled with an Arabic inscription (and there in an inscription to the lower border element).
The remaining space is richly decorated with incised and carved decorations of birds, flowers & foliage, and Arabesque geometric designs.
Signed to the reverse with a maker's mark & an 84 mark in Arabic for .875 silver fineness.
