Pair of Signed Danish Modern Sterling Silver & Blue Enamel Salt Cellars & Spoons

About the Item

A fine pair of vintage Danish Modern silver & enamel salt cellars & spoons. In sterling silver. By Egon Lauridsen (active ca. 1936 - 1966) The cellars with blue enamel to the bowls and starbursts to the center. The spoons with blue enamel highlights to the handle. The cellars marked to the base with ELA / Denmark / Sterling / 925S. The spoons marked the same to the reverse of the handle. Simply a wonderful pair of Danish Modern salt cellars! Date: ca. 1936 - 1966 Overall Condition: They are in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Condition Details: There is a slight bit of persistent tarnish to the bowl of one of the spoons. Maker: Egon Lauridsen Marks: The cellars marked to the base with ELA / Denmark / Sterling / 925S. The spoons marked the same to the reverse of the handle.
