Brookwood Hills

This project was the 3rd home with the client. The long term relationship was both a blessing and a challenge as the homeowners decided the 8,000 s/f ground up would have a completely different personality than prior homes. From the onset of the project collaborating with the Architects, the team designed spaces pulling favorite pieces from prior homes. While this is not an unusual objective, the homeowners also wanted this design to look completely new, different. The design approach in the prior home was soft contemporary with bold color. For this home, the homeowners wanted to create a retreat reminiscent of European Countryside with the casual style of Northern California.
