Lakeview Restoration

A full-home renovation in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood, this project by Lugbill Designs transforms a previously fragmented interior into a cohesive, layered residence. A restrained palette of warm wood, stone, and soft neutrals carries throughout, with contrast introduced through black accents and refined metal details. Custom millwork and cabinetry establish structure, while furnishings and textiles add depth and softness. Rather than relying on singular statements, the design builds continuity through repetition and balance, creating a home that feels unified, calm, and intentionally composed.
