Nestled along the banks of the Sabinal River, this charming log cabin has long been a family haven for slow days and river-washed afternoons. The owners invited RTD to collaborate with a talented family member—an emerging designer in Houston—to give the home a thoughtful rejuvenation.
By working with existing pieces and layering in fresh drapery, updated linens, and heirloom vintage items passed down through the generations, the cabin was transformed into a warm, deeply personal retreat. The energy is relaxed, soulful, and inviting—exactly the kind of place where time stretches, the river hums, and every summer memory feels a little more golden.
