Ingrid Abramovitch

Ingrid Abramovitch is a New York City–based journalist and editor who specializes in design and all the disciplines it intersects with — from interior decorating to the decorative arts, culture, travel and lifestyle. A former executive editor of Elle Decor, she has written about everything from the restoration of the Frick Collection to the sets of movies like Downton Abbey and interviewed a who’s who of the design world, from Axel Vervoordt to Annabelle Selldorf. She has also authored or contributed to several books about interior design, including her own Restoring a House in the City (Artisan Books), and now contributes to 1stDibs, Architectural Digest, the New York Times and several other publications.
