James Crump is a filmmaker and art historian. His latest feature, Breuer’s Bohemia is accompanied by a companion book of the same title published by Phaidon/Monacelli. He is currently at work on the screen adaptation of his 1998 book, When We Were Three, which follows the charged interwar ménage à trois of American photographer George Platt Lynes, publisher Monroe Wheeler and novelist Glenway Wescott.
