About: Leslie was a British landscape artist active during the last quarter of the 19th century. This finely painted watercolour shows the river Teign which rises in Dartmoor and flows through the county of Devon until it reaches the English Channel at Teignmouth. Leslie later settled in Australia and painted rural landscape scenes of Victoria. The painting is framed with acid free mating and has conservation UV resistant, non reflective glass
