Large 18th Century Clobbered Chinese Export Vase
About the Item
Very large polychrome clobbered 18th century Chinese export porcelain vase decorated in England in the 19th century. The base has a double circle in under glaze blue with an unidentifiable center mark (perhaps sacred fungus), again in under glaze blue. There is an almost imperceptible professional repair to the body, and it is drilled for lamp use. The vase retains its label from H. Moog, a highly regarded dealer in Chinese export porcelain.
