About the Item

A Chinese wooden cabinet from the 19th century, with brass hardware. This elegant Chinese cabinet adopts a rectangular shape, standing on four straight legs. The two doors open to reveal a black interior comprising of a shelf and two drawers. All open via brass pear-shaped handles and the door hardware elements – including the hinges – sit on round brass medallions. The front is accented by a beautifully carved skirt behind which sits a semi-hidden storage compartment. Made from natural wood and lacquered, this dresser has an exquisite honey blonde hue. This 19th century Chinese wooden cabinet with brass details offers a wonderful storage solution for any home, perhaps in a bedroom holding linens and blankets. The natural age cracks will be repaired upon sale.
