Large Japanese Cloisonné Enamel Dish, Japan Meiji period
About the Item
Bronze and cloisonné enamel dish very finely decorated with an egret in flight above various flowers on a background of copper inclusions and gold powder.
The wing decorated in particular with phoenixes and butterflies in flight on a background of scrollwork.
Note that this dish is much more beautiful in reality, the metallic powders not being as sparkling in the photos (video can be sent on request)
