Antique French Iron and Wood Folding Bistro Garden Chairs - Set of 3

About the Item

A charming set of antique French iron and wood folding bistro garden chairs. Peeling paint and rust on the iron as well as weathering on the wood lends to the rustic, shabby chic appeal, but they are still strong and very functional. The wood slats could be left as is or repainted with white or verdigris paint. The chairs are narrow but comfortable to sit on, as the back rest has a gradual slope. From the collection of a Boulder, Colorado interior designer who collected many antique pieces from France. Imported from France. Condition commensurate with age and use. They show wear from being outside. Chairs fold easily and are structurally strong. Use as is or scrape and refinish. In as found condition.
