Gunnar Nylund for Rörstrand Porcelain Crown Window Bowl
About the Item
A very stylish and finely made Swedish Rörstrand porcelain bowl the body decorated with a crown window design by Gunnar Nylund (1904-97) and dating from around 1940. The lightly made bowl stands on a narrow rounded foot run with a gilded edge with a raised wide rounded body with cut out window crown designs which let the light through. The crowns represent the emblem used by the company and the bowl is fully signed to the base with a gilded Rörstrand mark.
In excellent condition.
