This sophisticated modernist decorative box was realized in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. It features a volumetric rectangular body with a translucent Murano glass exterior and a onyx glass interior. The black form within appears almost like a cloud like sphere full of dramatic murines, imbuing it with a rich dynamism.
