An 18th Century Louis XVI Gilt-Bronze and White Marble Mantel Clock, circa 1780
An 18th century Louis XVI gilt-bronze and white marble clock, the white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, contained within a plinth shaped case, surmounted by a classical vase with flowers resting between open books, on a shaped plinth marble base inset with panels of gilt bronze scrolling foliage.
Clock with silk suspension, bell on half-hour and hour with pendulum.
Excellent small Louis XVI pendule dating from the late 18th century displaying rich gilt bronze Louis XVI style decoration with elaborate chasing and carving.
