1960s Swedish Kosta Boda Teal Glass Trinket Dish Viking Ship by Erik Hoglund

About the Item

1960s Small Swedish paperweight, ashtray or trinket dish which is made from a thick piece of square coloured dark teal glass. The viking ship design is pressed into the base of the glass to form the indented dish shape. The dish was designed by Erik Hoglund in the 1960s for the Swedish company Kosta Boda. For display purposes the dish does have to sit flat on a display shelf because it does not stand on its side on its own. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The brightness of the light behind it can change the colour of the glass depending of the time of day. Small but perfectly formed perhaps it could be the start of your collection. Dimensions: Depth: 6cm width: 6cm height: 2.5cm.
