Chinese antique pottery jar/small vase with beautiful glaze/circa 9th century

About the Item

This is a very old Chinese item. It is registered around the 9th century. A brown glaze, a green glaze, and a transparent glaze are used to make works. Another feature is that the clay is white. By using this white clay, the transparent glaze looks white, and the three colors of brown, green, and white are expressed. Also, in order to bring out the color of this glaze, it is necessary to bake at a low heat. This was made as a burial item for a powerful person, not as a practical item. Therefore, the number is small and scarce, and the shape is very beautiful and carefully made because it is a burial item. All items of this type are Artifacts. Therefore, it is quite rare that it is missing or unearthed as a complete product. Most of them in good condition are stored in museums. And this was also originally a vase with a slightly longer mouth. However, the tip part is missing and it has an oval shape like this. The missing parts are finely polished and trimmed. In addition, there is one place where the missing part was glued on the bottom part. but not very noticeable. Because it remained in relatively good condition, the luster and color of the glaze are beautiful. In addition, there is a collection of materials on Chinese pottery published by the Nara Prefectural Research Institute for Cultural Properties in Japan. The same shape was posted there, so I'm posting the picture. Please check it for reference. It is a very rare item. However, the price is set at a reasonable price because we want many people to know the goodness of this item. A dedicated storage wooden box is included. Weight: 542g "Note" This is a vase for grave goods. Because it is baked in a way that is close to unglazed, if you put water directly into it, the water will seep through and leak out. If you want to decorate flowers, put water in another container and put it in the pot.
